The car is powered by a V6 turbo diesel engine which can produce more than 500 BHP. But the e-Tron Quattro is also hybrid: in fact, while the V6 engine works on the rear wheels, the kinetic energy recovered in braking phase is stored, as electric energy, in some accumulators. The car can use this energy during the various accelerations, form a speed of 120 km/h (75 mph), discharging it on the front wheels. In this way a new Quattro traction is created.
